Tuition and Fees
REGISTRATION FEE
$55 per family and $30 for seniors.
This registration fee is due once per year and covers both the fall and spring terms.
VISUAL ARTS MATERIALS FEE: $30
There is a one-time materials fee per semester for visual arts classes paid at time of registration.
Music (Private Lessons) - 17-week semester
30-minute Private Music Lesson - Tuition: $544
60-minute Private Music Lesson - Tuition: $1,088
Group Classes in all Disciplines - 17-week semester
Group Classes Tuition: $255
Group Special
If you are enrolled in a private lessons or a group class, you may receive
an additional group class at a 30% savings over the full group class rate.
Refunds
There will be no tuition refunds after the end of October for the fall semester, or the
end of March for the spring semester. Otherwise, tuition refunds will be prorated based on the number of remaining weeks in the semester. Registration and other fees are not refundable.
Financial Aid
The School's mission is to provide an opportunity to study regardless of financial resources. If you are unable to pay full tuition, you may apply for financial
assistance. Financial aid applications are available in our offices, or may be downloaded by clicking here.

Initiative for Children's Arts in Newark (ICAN) PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
For the 4th year, the Newark School of the Arts (NSA) is providing an exclusive arts
program for Newark Public and Private School students. NSA received funding from a
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the City of Newark and other sources to
provide discounted rates for new registrants for their first semester. Parents/Guardians are required to
complete the NSA application form, as well as the supplemental
ICAN registration form to be eligible for these deeply-discounted rates for private lessons in
music, or group lessons in drama, dance and visual arts.
