Purpose

The dance program is designed to introduce the art of dance and to train sutdents at all levels for their own enjoyment and for professional pursuits.

Each year students are given opportunities to perform in NSA's Open House productions, the Annual Spring Concert as well as other performances.

Intermediate and advanced students are given performance opportunities through workshops in ballet and jazz. New works are created for workshop students by faculty choreographers. Workshop groups perform frequently during the year, gaining valuable stage experience.
