Dance Performance Hour

This NSA Dance Hour, hosted by Clarissa Newby (Dance Dept. Chair), exhibited the developing artistic talents of children learning dance. All performances were captivating and gave parents and teachers alike the satisfaction to see the children learning dance, dedication, and enjoying every second of it.

The Tiny Steps 5-7 group performed a Creative Movement and Rhythm piece (Rio, Elmo). Tap 8-9 performed Let it Snow, Let it Snow (Ricochet). Intro to Children's Ballet 8-9 performed March (G.Miller).

Children's Workshop 8-12 performed He Lives in you (Broadway Lion King). Followed by a final performance by Guest Student Artists in Hip Hop. 

UN Day Recital - October 19th, 2013

United Nations Day at Newark School of the Arts was an event filled with the celebration of music from many cultures. Every performance was truly amazing and captivating. Several performances were performed by scholarship students. Everyone, whether performing or listening, enjoyed the celebration of many cultures.
